We
are blessed with good people. Who respect themselves
and each other. There are strong relationships
among them and they work very well as a team.
There is life after Barron Insurance & Financial
Services Agency. Life with family and friends.
Helping lives with community service.
Our people are our quality. We’d like
to introduce them to you now. |

“People
don’t care how much you know, until they know
how much you care.” Brad Barron didn’t
write that, but as Insurance Producer, that’s
how he sees his side of a lasting client relationship.
He also says: “Providing cost effective coverages
that meet client needs helps builds trust.”
And Brad’s got a list of long-term clients
as long as your arm to prove it. He also cares about
the less fortunate among us, and donates to area
food closets, through his church, Help World Missions,
Feed The Hungry, Clothe The Homeless and the Lions
Club White Cane Candy Sale.

As Deanna Barron
likes to say, “I am the administrator of first
impressions, greeting and assisting our clients
as they walk in or call in to our office. I make
sure they are satisfied and directed to the appropriate
team member.” We couldn’t have said
it better! As the voice and face of our company,
Deanna makes every visitor feel welcome. Outside
of the office she supports the Salvation Army, Custer
T-Ball and was a supporter for the 2008 presidential
election. Deanna enjoys Michigan and Pittsburgh
Steelers football, scrapbooking, quilting, camping
and skiing. Deanna has also nee involved in Relay
for Life for 4 years!

Don’t take
Kristen Barron’s title of Executive Assistant
literally. Certainly, she focuses on freeing up
as much of owner Jerry Barron’s administrative
time as possible so he can be with our clients.
But Kristen also helps her co-workers when excess
work piles up. Her community volunteer service includes
collecting food for local churches and Christmas
time work for the Salvation Army. She also enjoys
working and staying busy. Kristen’s Bachelor
of Science in Finance from Trine University will
serve her well as she pursues agent’s, life
and securities licenses.

Find the definition
of “multitasking” in the dictionary,
and there will be a picture of Sean Barron, Producer
Assistant. He provides quick and accurate quotes
for his fellow producers and new call in or walk
in prospects; supplies quote training to his co-workers
and is the office go-to guy when it comes to computer-related
issues. Somewhere in there he shoehorns in lunch.
Sean’s as dedicated to the community as he
is to his colleagues, because he cut his teeth on
volunteering during his 15 years in scouting –
from Tiger Cub to Eagle Scout. Now he serves the
Good Fellows food drives, the Lions Club White Cane
Candy Sale and the Salvation Army at Christmas time.

Client Service Representative
Assistant, Chrissy Boraggina, says: “There
are many different steps to the process that we
do here, so it’s great to have everyone’s
knowledge working together. There is no “I”
in Barron.” Needless to say, when a member
of the team’s workload gets too heavy, she
is there to help. She also helps by donating food
and clothing to community causes. Chrissy is a lifetime
member of the shop-till-you-drop bunch.

What do the Blissfield
Model Railroad Club, Bedford Alliance Missionary
Church, Michigan Military Club and the VA Hospital
at Ann Arbor have in common? They are organizations
where Tressa Lloyd, Client Service Representative
Assistant, volunteers her time and talents. She
helps her community as well as our clients. When
time permits, Tressa enjoys HO scale model trains,
quilting, reading, scrapbooking and photography.
Tressa started as receptionist and really enjoys
working with our clients. She now has moved over
to help with our commercial department and personal
lines as a CSR assistant.

Are you confident
and secure with your insurance coverage? Steve Miller,
Insurance Agent/Financial Budgeting Specialist,
can get you there. And he stays on top of any changes
in our clients’ situations that may affect
their coverage, too. Like so many of our team, he
volunteers his time because it’s the thing
to do. He’s active in the Crossroads Church,
Sylvania Historical Society and Lions Club. When
it comes to outside interests, Steve and his wife
have four children. When he can get the remote from
the kids, he’ll catch an occasional football
game and has been known to do a u-turn when passing
a classic car.

Client Service Representative/Producer,
Amanda Mills, has two specialties: preparing quotes
and training her co-workers on quoting. Amanda also
reviews client accounts each year to keep them properly
covered. She also helps and assists when a client
files a claim. “Training is huge in this office”,
she says. “All of us take every opportunity
to stay current on insurance coverages and office
operating procedures.” Amanda’s donations
to food and clothing drives have instilled her giving
spirit in her children. Each year at Christmas time,
Amanda’s kids gather her loose change and
donate it to the Salvation Army.

Laura Sancrant is
listed as an Insurance Agent on our records. In
practice, she’s an educator, in the business
and out in the community. To Laura, the key components
of any proper insurance coverage is understanding
individual client needs, then educating them on
the best choices that meet their needs. Which is
why she talks with people, rather than at them.
She teaches 5th grade Sunday School and conducts
a church service for the mentally challenged to
teach them the love of God. As far as we know, none
of Laura’s co-workers have wanted to arm-wrestle
her; she has a routine of strength training and
four wheeling.

Megan Wertenberger,
Personal & Commercial Client Service Representative,
enjoys both working with her teammates, and community
volunteering with them as well. Megan is a newly
licensed agent in Property & Casualty. She finds
pleasure in her off hours shopping and baking. Did
we mention Megan is expecting her first child?
|
 |
Beky Barron-Wiles,
Client Service Representative Assistant, focuses
on her knowledge and training to assist and advise
all of our clients. From new home and auto purchases
to claims processing, Beky has or finds the answers
our clients need.
|
 |
Insurance Agent/Financial
Budgeting Specialist, Danielle Wood, works hard
to provide our clients with the best possible coverage
at a fair price. She works equally hard volunteering
at church and Bedford football – how ‘bout
those Mules! After work, Danielle enjoys curling
up with a good book, boating and a round of golf.

"Even a child is known by his actions, by whether his conduct is pure and right."
- Proverbs 20:11
What would you think if your five-year old son told you he has all these books he doesn’t need anymore and so he wants to give them away? Your first reaction just might be: AWWW! Well, the second thing that hit Nicholas Mills’ mom, Amanda, was: what a blessing it would be to multiply her son’s idea by hundreds or even thousands. So mother and son made a plan. A Book Drive plan. Between now and the end of August bring the books you don’t need anymore to our office. Thanks to Nicholas Mills, we’ll get them in the hands of people who do. Next time you’re dusting your bookshelves, think like Nicholas thinks. And if you don’t sell all those books at your garage sale, come on down!
